About us
Peterson Brothers Manufacturing Company was established in 1951 by Horthon Peterson and managed by him and various family members until his retirement in 1988. The business was passed on to his daughter, Marlys Lewis, and husband Gary has directed the business since that time. Originally located in Edison, NJ, the company moved in 2003
to a more modern facility in Middlesex, NJ, where it is convenient to Routes 287, 78 and 22 and Newark Liberty Airport.
For 56 years, the company has grown and improved, but the original focus on customer service, quality and dependability remains its fundamental mission. As a specialist in limited quantity custom stampings, we control the fabrication of your part from in-house, low cost tooling, through the stamping, to the finishing and assembly, if needed.
Our engineering department is second to none and can help you design or optimize a part that will best work for you. The application of the parts we have made are as varied as our customers. They are components for aerospace, trains and custom after-market motorcycle parts, as well as home furnishings, sunrooms and exterior basement entries. They are found in industrial electrical distribution equipment as well as musical instruments. Our average four-week delivery is another reason our reputation in the business is stellar. We are still a family business and very proud of the products that we manufacturer.
